Harborough Council Files Court Claim Over Leicester Split
All seven Leicestershire district councils, Harborough included, have filed a judicial review claim against the plan to split the county, and what it argues.
Market Harborough is the town this district is named after, with the “Market” dropped. It is the largest place in it by some distance, and the council works from there. Lutterworth is the second town, over towards the M1, and then it is villages: Broughton Astley, Kibworth, Fleckney, Great Glen, Great and Little Bowden, Husbands Bosworth, Billesdon and Medbourne among them.
