Market Harborough’s bonfire night display, the Harborough Fireworks Spectacular, is set for Wednesday 4 November 2026 at Harborough Showground on Gallow Field Road, LE16 7QB. Gates open at 4pm and the main display runs from 7.30pm to 8pm. (harboroughfireworks.co.uk)
The date to put in your phone first is not 4 November. It is 11am on Friday 11 September, when tickets go on sale. The organiser is running a registration list for a 10% off promo code, and a WhatsApp group that gets access at 10.30am, half an hour before general release.

Tickets and prices

Those are the advance prices published on the event site. Registering for the mailing list gets a 10% promo code, which takes an adult ticket to £10.80 and a child ticket to £5.40 if you apply it. The site carries an FAQ entry on buying on the gate, so if you turn up without a ticket, check that first rather than assuming.
What the ticket covers, and what it does not
Included: the main Illusion Fireworks display, the earlier children’s show, the bonfire and the fireballs the organiser describes as pillars of burning fuel.
Extra on the night: funfair rides after 5pm, the monster truck rides that are new to Harborough this year, sparklers and light-up toys from the stalls, and anything from the food traders or the bar.
You can bring a picnic. You cannot bring your own alcohol. The organiser says the show goes ahead in rain.
Getting there and parking
Harborough Showground sits on Gallow Field Road, north east of the town centre, and parking is free on the site itself, so there is no reason to park in town and walk. If you do end up in a council car park, remember that charges stop at 6pm Monday to Saturday, so an evening stay costs nothing anyway. Check roadworks and travel before you set off. The Rockingham Road scheme has been running under a traffic order with a works window of up to twelve months, and it is on the north east side of town.

Yes. The event is listed as scheduled, the date is fixed and the ticket sale date is published. This is a recurring fixture: the 2025 display was held on Tuesday 4 November 2025, also 4pm to 9pm at the showground, and the organiser has kept to 4 November again rather than moving to the 5th. That is worth noticing if you are planning around it. 4 November 2026 is a Wednesday, the night before Bonfire Night itself, and a school night. The same organiser, Xplosive Events, runs Holdenby House near Northampton on Thursday 5 November, Ducklington near Witney on Sunday 8 November and Abingdon on Saturday 14 November, so the Harborough show is the early one in its own group.

The organiser has not published a line-up beyond the timings, and there is no road closure or traffic management notice for Gallow Field Road on the county’s statutory notices at the time of writing. Both would normally appear in late October. We will update this page when they do.
