Tickets went on sale at 11am on Friday 11 September and are on sale now at £12 for adults and £6 for children aged 5 to 15. The organiser still offers a 10% off promo code to anyone who registers on the event site.

Tickets and prices

Those are the advance prices published on the event site. Registering for the mailing list gets a 10% promo code, which takes an adult ticket to £10.80 and a child ticket to £5.40 if you apply it. The site carries an FAQ entry on buying on the gate, so if you turn up without a ticket, check that first rather than assuming.
What the ticket covers, and what it does not
Included: the main Illusion Fireworks display, the earlier children’s show, the bonfire and the fireballs the organiser describes as pillars of burning fuel.
Extra on the night: funfair rides after 5pm, the monster truck rides that are new to Harborough this year, sparklers and light-up toys from the stalls, and anything from the food traders or the bar.
You can bring a picnic. You cannot bring your own alcohol. The organiser says the show goes ahead in rain.
Getting there and parking
Harborough Showground sits on Gallow Field Road, north east of the town centre, and parking is free on the site itself, so there is no reason to park in town and walk. If you do end up in a council car park, remember that charges stop at 6pm Monday to Saturday, so an evening stay costs nothing anyway. Check roadworks and travel before you set off. The Rockingham Road scheme has been running under a traffic order with a works window of up to twelve months, and it is on the north east side of town.

Yes. The event is listed as scheduled, the date is fixed and tickets are on sale. This is a recurring fixture: the 2025 display was held on Tuesday 4 November 2025, also 4pm to 9pm at the showground, and the organiser has kept to 4 November again rather than moving to the 5th. That is worth noticing if you are planning around it. 4 November 2026 is a Wednesday, the night before Bonfire Night itself, and a school night. The same organiser, Xplosive Events, runs Holdenby House near Northampton on Thursday 5 November, Ducklington near Witney on Sunday 8 November and Abingdon on Saturday 14 November, so the Harborough show is the early one in its own group.

Three more public displays are on sale in the district, all run by local organisations, on the three nights after the showground event.
Kibworth and Fleckney Rotary Bonfire and Fireworks: Friday 6 November, Kibworth Golf Club, Weir Road, LE8 0LP. Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire is lit at 7pm and the fireworks start at 7.15pm. Advance tickets are £8 for adults aged 16 and over and £4 for children aged 5 to 15; under fives are free. Visit Harborough’s listing gives prices on the gate of £10 and £5. There is hot food and drink on sale but no parking on site, so plan to walk in from the village. Money raised goes to local youth activities and Rotary projects. Fireworks Night with AeroSPARX: Saturday 7 November, The Gliding Centre, Husbands Bosworth Airfield, LE17 6JJ. This one starts much earlier. Gates open at 1.30pm for food, craft stalls and funfair rides, entry closes at 4pm, the bonfire is lit at 4.25pm and the AeroSPARX team flies a night aerobatic display with illuminated aircraft and pyrotechnics from 4.30pm. Celestial Fireworks closes the evening with a display set to music at 6pm. Tickets are £12 for adults, £6 for children aged 5 and over and free for under fives, with parking included. It is advance tickets only, with nothing sold on the gate, a limit of five people per car, and no sparklers. Bring cash for the funfair, as the centre warns card signal is unlikely to reach the airfield. Fleckney Festival Fireworks: Sunday 8 November, Leicester Airport, Stoughton, LE2 2FG. The site opens at 3pm, an airborne pyrotechnics plane flies at 4.40pm and the fireworks start at 6.30pm, with a fairground, live music and food and drink. Tickets are £10 for adults aged 16 and over, £5 for children and free for under 3s, plus booking fees. Parking on site is free. (Fleckney Festival)

The organiser has not published a line-up beyond the timings, and there is no road closure or traffic management notice for Gallow Field Road on the county’s statutory notices at the time of writing. Both would normally appear in late October. We will update this page when they do.
